We hope you plan to join us, and we look forward to welcoming you to Orlando.

LEARN

The Florida Section Annual Conference brings 80+ technical and professional development sessions in 7 tracks of engineering: structural, geotechnical, environmental & water resources, transportation, utilities, sustainability and professional development.  The conference offers something for everyone, including our growing number of student members.  We offer ½ day geared towards them, including a thinking outside the box leadership seminar geared towards our millennial members.  The technical sessions will be in 25-minute and 50-minute blocks. In addition, the state required two-hour Laws/Rules & Ethics course will be offered.

CONNECT

Networking is the key to professional development and career opportunities.  The Annual Conference is the perfect opportunity to meet with members you haven’t seen in a while, in addition to meeting potential clients or employers.  Conference networking takes place during the morning and afternoon refreshment breaks located in the exhibitor area and at the cocktail parties.

GET IDEAS

Many products and services needed for your next solution can be found in the exhibitor area of the annual conference.  Exhibitors are open on Thursday from 10am to 5:00pm and Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.  They make themselves available to share with you their newest product to help your engineering needs.

RELAX

The 2023 Annual Conference will take place at the beautiful JW Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando.  The hotel has the many luxuries you’ve come to expect at a Florida Section conference – pool, spa, excellent dining and easy access to the Orlando theme parks.  The surrounding area has many sights, activities and adventures available for attendees and their families before, during and after the conference.  Pull down the relax menu above for just a sampling of the options.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

The ASCE Florida Section is an FBPE Continuing Education (CE) provider, and we strive to provide many opportunities across the state to obtain the mandatory 18 hours of CE including the 2 hours Laws, Rules and Ethics requirements.  This year at conference, attendees will be able to earn UP TO 12 CE CREDITS through technical sessions and tours.
